The House of Human Sciences Paris-Nord, under Cap Digital’s patronage and its partners from the THD board has organized on Thursday, April 28th and Friday 29th the symposium « VHS (Very High Speed): the limits of a new order » at the HHS Paris-Nord.

This event aimed to detail the report of the participation of HSS Paris-Nord to the experience VHS that deals with the stakes of the new services and digital contents Very High Speed.

The team of the House of Human Sciences Paris-Nord analyzed, within the VHS project (regional cooperative program of experimentation, coordinated by Cap Digital and backed by the Region Ile de France), the possible services and contents thanks to very high speed, during 30 months.

In this project, the House of Human Sciences Paris-Nord is in charge of the socio-economic watch. Its contribution deals with 3 research axes:

• A strategic watch on experimentation boards of existing very-high speed services that leads to a benchmark on similar operations abroad;
• A watch on the evolutions of the value string of contents and digital services;
• An analysis of the rebuilding of industrial fields;

For the project’s closure, the result have been presented, shared and discussed with all concerned actors within the VHS symposium.

The VHS symposium is built around three types of complementary provisions:

• Facts coming from lands where studies have been carried out, external provisions;
• analyses enabling to suggest question research;
